Not to complain (especially not on Thanksgiving!) but post college life has been very trying, and very stressful. Yet we all need reasons to put away all of lifes stresses and focus on the good, positive, happy, exciting parts of our lives. Here is my incomplete list of things I'm thankful for... both big and small.
- Family- Thank you for all your support! I am so lucky to have a family that is there for me no matter what. They have been so helpful to me in all my 22 years, and even though they often drive me crazy I don't know what I would do without them.
- Friends- Thank you for everything! Thank you for becoming my family when we could not be with our own. I am so amazed and pleased with the way that all of my closest friends have been able to stay connected now that we are no longer all living in the same city (or in the same house for that matter)! I can not imagine my life without all my amazing, wonderful, crazy friends.
- My Car (her name is Layla)- Thank you for taking me up and down CA to let me visit all those crazy friends of mine.
- Facebook/Twitter/Blogger/YouTube/etc- Thank you for allowing me to keep in touch with all those friends, to share my life and ideas with others and allow others to do the same with me.
- iPhone cameras- Thank you for letting me document my life. And for letting me send silly videos to my friends.
- iPod/Spotify/Pandora/iHeartRadio/any other music type things I use- Thank you for creating the soundtrack to my life, keeping me entertained at work, in my room, in the car etc
Ditching the explanations, my list continues:
colder weather and changing/falling leaves

foggy mornings

smiles from strangers

anyone who takes the time to read my thoughts on this blog
